Skin and beauty changes after I moved

I expected some changes in my beauty routine before I moved. A lot of people were telling about negative aspects of living in Turkey like dry skin, bad quality of water from the pipes, breakouts etc.
So I’ve decided to adapt to the new reality from the very beginning and it gave me the best results. My skin is hydrated, glowing and healthier than ever and I feel in general much better.

So here is what I’ve done
SPF. I started wearing SPF every day and apply it in the morning right after moisturizer. It is essential to reapply it if you’re swimming or tanning.
Less makeup. I refused using any foundation on a daily basis. And if you know me well enough that was a major challenge for me. I might use light weight foundation like Fit me by @maybelline with @beautyblender for the times we go out in the evening.
Face masks. I started to use face masks every other day for additional moisturizing.
Natural scrub. I take all advantages of living by the seaside. Every time we go swimming I try to wash my face with salty water and gently scrub it thus it make a perfect natural scrub.
Face tanning. I do not cover my face from the sun, if you protect your face with the right SPF you don’t need to put a blanket on it for additional protection. In fact this can do the contrary - no fresh air and sweat will do more damage to your face than sun would do.
Local brands. I use local brands of shampoo and shower gel and believe they go better with local water than the products I took with me from Russia.
Food and sleep. If I wanted a more even skin tone and a healthy body, I'd have to watch what I eat and make quality sleep a priority.
Did you notice any changes in your skin / beauty since you moved abroad or vacationing in other countries?
