Day on the Ranch in Antalya

It was the middle of January and right before the rain season when we felt absolutely bored in the city. to get new emotions and experiences we decided to go outside of the city. As there is common problem with transportation in Turkey and we still don’t feel comfortable driving a car on serpentine roads we were looking for some attractions not so far away. Hotel Berke Ranch & Nature seemed like a perfect place!

We booked horses one day in advance via Instagram just to be sure that we will be able to ride this day.

Our trip started with bus trip to Chamyuva village. we took express bus going from Antalya to Kemer and Chamyuva. We got off right at the sign Chamyuva on D400 road and went towards the sign Berke hotel.

The road is very picturesque and doesn’t have a lot of traffic. It took us about 15 minutes to reach our destination.

At the reception we changed our mind about taking a one hour trip to the mountains and decided to train in the manege instead. You can conveniently pay by credit card and take sessions starting from 15 minutes and up to several hours. prices start from 60 liras.

Later we took a walk down the stalls to see other horses and have a look at the beautiful territory of the hotel.

There is also a nice panoramic restaurant in the hotel where you can sit by the fireplace, enjoy lovely music and sip on a Turkish bear or wine.
