How to find work in Antalya

Finding a source of income is the most important task after you moved. You have two options: you can try to find work in the city or you can work remotely.

What kind of jobs are suitable for foreigners in Antalya? First of all you need to understand that Antalya is a tourist city and it’s economy is based on tourism. There are also list of prohibited jobs for foreigners such as lawyers, pharmacy personnel, dentists, notary officials, private security officers, customs brokers and tourist guides.

So what are your options?

Hospitality. Vast range or hotels are located in Antalya. Some hotels are seasonal and work only from April to November, others work all year round. For seasonal work it’s better to start applying in February.

Consultant staff. Due to the amount of foreigners coming to Antalya some shops are hiring English/Russian/German speaking staff. Might be a seasonal demand.

International companies. There are few international companies located in Antalya. Since they are working with clients from all around the world they also require employees with different languages and knowledge of different markets.

Helping staff. There are official companies who hire nannies or staff helping elderly people.
